Indoor Bowls News: Do you want to participate in the ESIBBA Winter Pennant? This competition commences the last week in April and continues till mid-August (14 weeks plus finals). Contact Robyn McClelland ESIBBA Summer Social Bowls at the Blackburn RSL resumes Wednesday 5th February 2025. 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start
Call for Volunteers for Probus Meeting Days We are asking for volunteers for preparation/serving/cleanup of morning teas for our two Probus groups that hire the club for their monthly meetings. These hirings are a valuable source of income for the Club. Auburn Probus - 1st Monday of the month Maling Probus - 2nd Wednesday of the month 9am to 11am Two people to set up and wash-up after the morning tea. Probus members also assist with serving and cleanup. Depending on volunteers it may be that youare rostered for just one occasion for the whole year. That would be a great result. North Balwyn Bowls Club - Your community gathering place

With over 400 members, our club provides a social gathering place for the following activities:

Bowls – We offer Outdoor and Indoor competitions both in a Pennant and Social format. We have Beginners sessions for you try the sport and receive coaching. The friendly, welcoming atmosphere of North Balwyn Bowls Club is the place to “play bowls and make friends”.

Bridge – We play Bridge! Supervised play and competitive Duplicate sessions on Monday and Thursday. Full details can be found on our Bridge Menu

Craft – Our craft groups meets on the second Monday of the month. Full details can be found on our Social Groups Menu

Library – Our members have created a free library of games, puzzles and books

Social Activities – We celebrate occasions such as Cup Day, President’s Day and Christmas for all members, with meals and drinks.

Garden Plots – If it is a patch of garden you need so you can grow your own vegetables and share the products of your labour, we have sunny garden plots available for hire.
